If you have VINYL or FOIL transition ducting on your dryer, it should be replaced with flexible metal or UL 2158A rigid metal transition duct. The vinyl and foil type are not recommended due to their ability to easily kink in tight spaces behind the dryer and have a reduced heat resistance factor. Don’t worry, that’s where we come in!
